Compare a routeWhat is Mapssy?
Navigation apps often give different times for the same drive, because each uses its own traffic data and puts your destination at its own point.
Mapssy asks Google Maps for the route using its live routing service. Waze has no public routing service, so Mapssy estimates its time from Google's answer, and on the website it does the same for Apple Maps. All three appear side by side a few seconds later.
Tap a card to open the route in Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze on your phone.

Why the apps give different times
Two apps can disagree by several minutes on the same drive, and that's normal. Three things cause most of it.
Different traffic data
Each app learns about traffic from its own users and partners, and each predicts in its own way how a jam will develop.
Read the guide →A different end point
The same address can become a different pin in each app, such as the other side of a building or a car park, so the apps may not be timing quite the same trip.
Read the guide →Different settings
Avoiding tolls, motorways or ferries sends an app down other roads. It's worth checking these settings in each app you use.
